How-To Enable Direct PayPal Payments top

If you did not provide your PayPal ID (email address associated with your PayPal account) during your initial sign up you can do so my following the steps below.

  1. Sign into Verify.IM account
  2. Click on My Account
  3. Scroll down until you see the listing for PayPal
  4. Click on the + sign next to the PayPal ID label
  5. Enter your PayPal ID and click the save button.



How-To Enable Your Online Status For Skype top

After you add your Skype username you may notice that the Skype buttons on your Verify.IM page appear to be inactive. This is due to 1 of two things, 1) your are not signed into Skype client or 2) Your privacy settings in your Skype client need to be updated.

  1. Open Skype Client
  2. Click on Tools and then select Options
  3. Click on Privacy (see the image below)
  4. Check the box labeled, "Allow my online status to be shown on the web"
  5. Click Save

Why Do I Get So Many Email Notifications? top

Verify.IM sends you notifications for a lot of different reasons. These include when someone visits your page, when someone views your badge or clicks your link, when someone scans your barcode and even when someone downloads your vCard. You can reduce the frequency or stop the notifications completely.

How Do I Reduce / Stop Email Notifications? top

After a few days of receiving all notification types as they occur you could get overwhelmed and perhaps mistake a email message for a notification. To reduce or stop these notifications:

  1. Sign into your account
  2. Click on The My Notifications PLUS button (see image above)
  3. Click on the Notification type you wish to change. (see the image below)
  4. Select the frequency you wish to receive notifications
  5. Click Save
